Synopsis
On a spaceship on the dark side of the moon, Batman confronts the Durlan shape-shifter that has taken over the body of STAR Labs entrepreneur Anderson Gaines. At the Fortress of Solitude, Superman is fighting NRG-X. He realizes that NRG-X is mostly cybernetics, so Superman literally takes off its head. In space, Batman and the Durlan continue their fight. The Durlan starts the spaceship, setting its heading right towards Metropolis. Batman contacts Superman, who flies to the ship. Superman freezes the Durlan. Batman manages to alter the course of the ship and set it down in the ocean. Still frozen, the Durlan attempts to shape shift, but in the process seemingly kills himself.
