Synopsis

Fifteen years ago...the rock of Kryptonite has been taken by a mafia-type rich man who orders a priest murder.  The man is then killed by his wife, who is then killed by her son, Gallo.  Now...Lois Lane breaks off her relationship with Superman because she realizes that the he needs to be there to save the world, which precludes him from being there for her.  At a “Fun Day” event for sick kids, Lex Luthor gives a speech presenting a new less invasive x-ray machine.  Superman arrives at the event and reads a card from Anthony Gallo pledges 42 million dollars to help built a pediatric care center, providing Superman personally picks up the donation.  Meanwhile, Jimmy Olsen picks up a transmission of an attack of some LexCorp armored trucks.  When the truck explodes, Superman flies to the rescue.  In his office, Gallo stands naked in a green glow.  At the scene of the explosion, Superman is bathed in green as well and he starts to fall from the sky.
