G6 Welcome! vu

Hello! Welcome to my (very) modest website of reviews of all (well, okay, a lot) of the comic books published by DC Comics each month.  It is my hope that each month you can troll through the website and find reviews of all your favorite titles, ranging from Superman and Batman to Manhunter and Firestorm.  I do not have a mission with these reviews.  I am not trying to get you to read lesser known titles or slag certain fan-favorite characters; there is no overriding agenda other than to share my own thoughts and opinions with the comic reading universe.

One word of note:  I don’t do ratings.  I don’t provide stars or school grades or percentage of 100, or variations of any of the above using cute graphics based on the website name, nor do I do thumbs up or thumbs down, mostly because it is copyrighted by somebody else.  These are reviews in the sense that I look back at the issue and I provide my thoughts, describing what I liked or did not like or simply commenting on the words or the art or sometimes asking questions about what is coming next.

Another word of note:  I am not conversant with designing or operating web pages, so you will find a bare bones website with no flashes (except for Wally West) or fancy knick-knacks.

As you go through the website (please take a look) you may notice that a lot of stuff pre-2006 has yet to be reviewed and posted.  Rest assured; I am diligently working my way to fill out all of the sections.  It just will take me time.  In the meantime, I will continue to keep up to date.  Each month I will provide an overview (see May Round-Up right here) of each month and occasionally will write an essay or article if there is something on my mind.
