Review
This was one of the few issues in which I had trouble actually finishing it the second time I read it (as I always read an issue twice before doing the review). I do not like the art; it is sloppy, lacking detail. I would not have known that was Arsenal except that is how Nightwing referred to him during a fight scene that I could tell very little what was happening. That, however, is only part of the reason. The other reason is that Bruce Jones’ brief run as writer on this title was not entertaining at all and I think at this point I had enough of the Pierce Brothers. Since I know that Jones will be replaced next issue and I know that this issue ties up loose ends and essentially clears the deck for the next creative team, my interest in Jones’ Nightwing has waned (As you can probably tell by the lackluster synopsis). In summary, looking forward to next month.
All right, one more thing: Cheyenne gets a note indicating that Dick has been captured, so after she leaves his apartment to go after him, she leaves a note behind to tell him where she has gone? Does this make sense?-- MRB
