Synopsis
[Continued from Justice League of America, issue #9]
At the Justice League headquarters, Superman explains to the JLA and JSA that the lightning rods were used previously to resurrect Lightning Lad at the cost of somebody’s life. Elsewhere, the Legion of Super-Heroes decide to complete their mission without the help of Superman. They arrive at Suicide Swamp, but find others got there first: Damage, Hourman, Liberty Belle, Wonder Woman and Black Lightning. In the swamp, they find one of the secret society’s old headquarters. Inside, they find Triplicate Girl. She tells them that she is supposed to make sure the world’s first artificial intelligence (aka Computo) is never born, because if it does it will destroy all superheroes. Suddenly, Computo attacks. The rest of the JSA and JLA, as well as the Legion, join in the fight. In the midst of the fight, Danwstar finds another member of the legion, Sensor Girl, and speaks the code to undo the mental block. Then, Superman realizes that the attack and Computo were only projections made by Sensor Girl. However, the Legion have flown away to complete their mission. [Continued from Justice League of America, issue #10]

I am not really sure I have that much to say about this issue. Well, okay, I can say this: Holy crap, but that two-page spread of the fight is just an awesome drawing. In fact, the entire issue is just absolutely gorgeous. I love Eaglesham’s work.
As for the plot and the story, I must say that I absolutely love this crossover and I think Johns and Meltzer are crafting a terrific storyline. They have done a great job juggling a large cast of characters, making sure there are moments for all of them to have a moment, either from Damage’s comments about school or Liberty Belle’s conversation with Wonder Woman or Cyclone learning about her powers.
We get, yet again, another nod to the Superfriends cartoon with the Computo headquarters resembling the villains Hall of Doom, including putting it in the swamp. At the very least this thing was just part of Sensor Girl’s projection and therefore not real. I am still on the fence with the JLA headquarters, so I am not sure how to handle a real Hall of Doom.
