Synopsis
Stargirl is locked in a deadly fight with Wildcat. They, along with the rest of the JSA, have been by Amos Fortune and his gang so they can battle each other for their own amusement. Wildcat continues to win, he continues to get stronger and stronger, thanks to Amos Fortune’s luck energy (or “stellaration”) that is being expanded upon by the Wizard. Meanwhile, Gypsy’s aura is floating around the area hoping to find a way to defeat Amos Fortune. Gypsy uses the stellaration to increase her power and then inhabits Vixen’s body so she can use that power to capture and defeat the Wizard. Once the Wizard has been defeated, the power holding the JSA is lifted and they are abel to defeat Amos Fortune.

“And that’s why I brought all this into being, Mari...to see that smile again.”
There are times when I have find I have very little to say about a particular issue. Usually that happens when the issue is fantastic or horrible. I will let you decide which category this issue falls into. What has me speechless are the final words, which I quoted above. Think about that. Gypsy essentially rigged a card game to give Amos Fortune power so that he would force the JSA to fight each other and almost get everyone killed just so she can see her friend smile. Personally, a hallmark card or take her to see a movie would have been better ideas than that. The idea is just so ludicrous that words fail me.
Best part of this issue: Alan Scott saves the day when he captures Amos Fortune to keep him from exploding all over. Eww, that is just gross to think about it.
