Review by Binkley (e-mail)
This has been a frustrating series, to date, and a lot of that has to do with a lot of ill-defined motivations. The perfect example of this is Natasha. She tells John Henry that she is scared of showing her real, true self. My question is: what is her real true self? What is she hiding and not showing us? And why would she need to hide who she really is? It seems to me that Milligan is more interested in the appearance of psychological problems rather than actually delving into the causes and solutions to the problems. Kid Empty is defined as someone with existential angst who decides to drain other people, but there really is no effort to find out why he has that angst. Then there is Lucia, who is shown to be cutting herself and the reasons seems to be because she is rich and bored, but that is really superficial because not all rich and bored people cut themselves. There is more than just that going on, but Milligan doesn’t seem to be interested in delving that deep. And that is a problem in a book that seems to have psychological undertone.
The cover depicts the members of Infinity, Inc. with their new powers, including Nuklon becoming two people. The way it is drawn, it looks like something is coming out of the ear of the front Nuklon. It is supposed to be the shoelaces from the background Nuklon, but it isn’t quite clear and frankly the way the white lace snakes out of his ear, it looks weird.

Synopsis
Kid Empty's girlfriend finds Persona and tries to kill him for helping Infinity, Inc. capture Kid Empty. Persona reverts to his blue form and explains what Luthor did to him. Kid Empty's girlfriend sympathizes, so they become a couple.
Review
An interesting twist to the story and a good epilogue to an average story. Strangely, I am actually more interested in this couple than I am with the rest of the Infinity, Inc. So, of course, they will probably be dropped from the book and we will never see them again.
