Synopsis
While surfing the internet, Mia learns that someone is attempting to auction the Arrow-Car. Ollie tells that’s impossible; he destroyed it himself years ago. However, when he locates the self-destruct remote, he learns that it was broken. The Arrow-Car never blew up. Despite Mia’s pleadings, Ollie decides not to bid on the car.

“Arrowplane? You gotta be yankin’ me.”
I liked this issue. It had equal amounts of humor and nostalgia and add dash of action and pinch of a few guest spots and you’ve got a recipe for a good story. And I’ll be damned if I ever use that lame analogy ever again on this web site.
While I liked the story, the art was so-so. It has a retro feel to it, which works for the flashback scenes, but for the present day scenes it doesn’t work at all. Plus, there were several scenes that I had trouble following, including the bit part where Supes and Plas grab their heads with open mouths for what seems to be no particular reason.
The winning bid was 20 million dollars; the previous bid had been a penny less than a million dollars. The online name for Bruce Wayne is Fledermaus. Does this mean anything? Mia’s screen name was Mia I Am, which is the same forwards and backwards or a palindrome. The website was called dcBuy. The location of the buyer was Illinois. The car broke down in Nebraska. According to Wikipedia, Star City is located in California, north of San Francisco.
