Review by Binkley (e-mail)

I don’t think there is much to say, other than this was an enjoyable fill-in issue before we get to the next storyline.  It was nice to see Connor take center stage in the Green Arrow book once more after becoming secondary to Ollie after his return.  Connor is dangerously becoming a useless character, someone who is not the main hero and is not even the sidekick.  Unlike Roy, he hasn’t been shunted off to a team-up book (he is not really suited for any of them, anyway), so he has been largely relegated to helping out when needed rather than taking a more active role.

I have to commend Winick on the overall plot of the story.  Rather than go the usual route of having the two come to blows and fight each other before realizing how alike they really are, Winick instead takes them both to unfamiliar territory before taking them to a place of equal footing (the robbery).  The action during the robbery worked well and continued to show how different they truly are.
