Review by Binkley (e-mail)
In my last review, I think I complained that there had been way to many parallel plots and stories with seemingly no connection to each other. Well, you can slap me upside the head because Gibbons shows he had a plan in mind as he brings most of the disparate parts together. Now we knwo that there is something going on with Mogo, as evident by Guy’s “visitation” and by Kilowog’s strange behavior when he learns what happened to the Lanterns. Interestingly enough, Vath had recently been to Mogo and since he is one of the lanterns chasing after Guy, this should become interesting.
The only part of the story that remains separate from the rest is the Soranik Natu portion, but I actually don’t mind this since she still remains my favorite of all the different characters in this book.
