They trio manage to take down the escapees, but soon realize someone else: Man who Laughs. The track him down and find him holding an explosive device. He then tells him why he is doing what he is doing, but in the process gives Batman enough time to capture. He sets of the explosive, which destroys a camera, which was filming his exploits to his father.
Review by Binkley (e-mail)
With the relaunch of the DCnU effectively canceling all comics with a cover
date of October 2011 combined with my perpetual lateness with reviews, the
following few words will suffice so I can concentrate on the new #1s.
Average. A strange, weird fill-in. I realize that it is supposed to be weird and strange, but I don’t think it reaches the level of absurdity that it was trying to be. I think part of the reason is the muddy, sloppy art, which fails to be as impressive as the cover by Burnham. But I did like the final two pages. It was macabre and fittingly absurd.
