Review by Binkley (e-mail)
With the relaunch of the DCnU effectively canceling all comics with a cover
date of October 2011 combined with my perpetual lateness with reviews, the
following few words will suffice so I can concentrate on the new #1s.
Poor. It is an incoherent mess. There were a couple of scenes that seem to be missing, as if the story was intended to be six issues but got cut short by the relaunch. Rather than re-write, Finch just cut out scenes altogether. Plus, I won’t even get into the lack of resolution to the Gordon storyline or even the Penguin plot. To top it off. the cliffhanger is odd; I wonder if Finch will follow-up with the relaunch.
